Marketing and onboarding tasks
During my employment at both the chain store Ecigz and the distribution company Efuma, which bought the chain, I had exciting tasks. While working for Ecigz, I solved some problems I noticed regarding communication and training, and I later became a marketing assistant at Efuma, where I helped with some design tasks. I will present the tasks and solutions below.

Communication intranet
At my previous workplace, Ecigz, a retail chain store, I designed an internal communication intranet for the managers, colleagues, and myself. In such a technical niche industry, it is important to advise each other, but communication was not optimal at this time. A big reason is due to each employee working alone in each other own stores. When you do not meet up by a water cooler over coffee, it can be tough to share knowledge and updates. So, I worked out a solution. It also later became part of my bachelor's exam project. Here, you see an intranet made via the open-source platform Wix.

Onboarding guide for Ecigz employees
This guide was created to increase the knowledge of how vape products, coils, liquids, batteries and chargers work. But also in terms of how my colleagues could become professional sellers and gain better knowledge of the products, while my former co-workers are alone in a shop, it can be nice to have a guide they can flip through to ensure that their knowledge is optimal, mainly because it requires technical skills. They do not have an employee physically present to help them. I designed the guide in Adobe Indesign, and according to managers, it improved the training of new employees.

Marketing Assistant for Efuma
Marketing assignments for Efuma
After having been employed at Ecigz for a few years, the store chain was bought by the B2B supplier company Efuma. Back in spring 2022, the new CEO of Efuma received a good impression of me. I asked critical and relevant questions regarding Ecigz and its future. This happened at a staff meeting and training course in Western Union. He noticed that I had business knowledge and thus I was hired at Efuma as a marketing assistant. My work involved rebranding, e-commerce, marketing and SEO for several of their websites.
TV-screen design
How is it possible to market or brand electronic cigarettes in Denmark? You can't. Denmark has various strict rules and regulations regarding vaping, especially compared to many other European countries. This required the marketing team and I to find areas we could market. For instance, I designed images to be displayed on each Ecigz store's TV screen. Some screens were turned off and neglected, and others had outdated images. While working as a store assistant in 14 of their 29 stores, I noticed many customers were unaware that Ecigz was a chain store. So, the marketing manager Morten Pauch and I designed these customised images for each store, displaying where the other stores are located and which stores are nearby. Something else the marketing rules do not state is employee branding, and that is why we designed a personal image for the store managers. An example is the image of Bjarne below, who was a district manager for the region of Zealand.
Website design
Their website needed a touch-up. This was especially true during a rapid change in the vaping industry in Denmark. Due to stricter regulations, vape stores are no longer allowed to display images of products on their websites or sell e-liquids that mainly taste like fruit or sweets. Many pages and pictures had to be deleted from their website, leaving it empty and plain-looking.
Morten, the Marketing manager, and I created a page showing all the stores and contact information to keep it consistent with the images for the TV screens. We also created a "Job" page that focused on storytelling and explaining the perks of being a part of the Ecigz team.
